Golden Sands
The Golden Sands resort is located 18 km north of
Varna. The splendid park, where the freshness of
woods combined with the fine sand of the beach
provide a unique setting. The beach, 100 meters wide
in places, is a fascinating stretch of soft golden
sand. The bright summer will enable you to enjoy
sunbathing from May till October. Average air
temperatures rarely exceed 27°C and the calm and
clean seawater is warm enough both at daytime and in
the evening with temperatures of 24-25°C.
Since ancient times, the site of golden sands has
got some of the most healing mineral water springs
in the country and today, just as they did thousands
of years ago, they will offer you the gift of health
and beauty throughout the year.
The numerous art studios in the ethnographic centre
and the small shops in the shopping streets offer
traditional hand made Bulgarian souvenirs.

archery, mini-golf, basketball, volleyball grounds
and an abundance of other sport facilities are at
your disposal all along the Golden Sands promenade
and in the cool park. While you are spending time on

baby-sitters and entertainers at your hotel or in
one of the Golden Sands kindergartens. You can try
traditional Bulgarian cuisine or exotic Eastern
