towns and cities - the Golden Ring - which are home
to some of the country's finest architecture,
featuring churches, cathedrals and kremlins
(fortified areas of the city centre).
Traveling through this area also gives the chance to
experience the provincial Russia of wooden houses,
villages and markets.

Departure from Beirut
Int'l Airport at 01:55 with Aeroflot. Arrival to
Moscow 06:45. Passport
formalities, meet & assistance, transfer to hotel,
Then panoramic city sightseeing tour to admire the
city's beautiful historic monuments and architecture
while passing through the main streets and squares:
Tverskaya, revealing 19th century palaces,
Treatralnaya, Vorobyevi Hills, Moscow University,
the Novodevichy convent etc. Transfer to hotel.
In the evening an optional night tour. The National
Russian Show (folk music and dancing).
MOSCOW
WED
After breakfast, visit the Kremlin, ""the oldest
part of the city and one of the most beautiful
ensembles of the world"".Visit the Assumption
Cathedral built in the 15th with its gold leafed
domes.
Lunch at a typically Russian cuisine restaurant ""Zhiguli""
followed by a promenade along old Stary Arbat then
the fabulous Moscow Metro considered to be the most
beautiful one in the world decorated with marble,
mosaics, bronze sculptures...
In the evening an optional Bolshoy Theater the well
known Russian Ballet of Performance.
MOSCOW - ST PETERSBURG
THU
After breakfast at 10:00 a full day tour to
Sergiev Posad, the religious center of Russian
Orthodox Church, visiting the Trinity St. Sergius
Lavra, monasteries and museums.
Lunch at Sergiev Posad near the Pokrovskiy
Monastery. Free time to enjoy the area. In the
evening free time for entertainment at Moscow Circus
or Cat Theatre. At night, departure by train to St.
Petersburg (02 bed compartments carriage - 1st
class).
ST PETERSBURG
FRI
"Arrival to St. Petersburg at 07h30. Breakfast
in the train. Meet & assistance. Grand city tour of
St.
Petersburg to wonder the 2nd largest city in Russia
and the beautiful Baroque Palaces, picturesque
canals,
splendid avenues and elaborate cathedrals with a
stop at St. Isaa Cathedral and at Peter & Paul
fortress.
Return to hotel, overnight.
ST PETERSBURG
SAT
After breakfast at 10:00 a full day tour to
Pavlovsk Palace which was a present from Catherine
II to her son Paul I.The parks are considered one of
the most attractive Royal parks in Europe. In the
afternoon, optional departure to Pushkin to visit
Catherine's palace (with its marvelous Amber room)
and gardens and a Baroque building which is
considered to be one of the world's architectural
masterpieces.
Return to hotel, overnight.
ST PETERSBURG
SUN
After breakfast, at 10:00 a visit to the Hermitage
museum which is situated in the halls of the Winter
Palace and surrounded by beautiful
squares.Optional:During Summer, Canal Cruises of
St.Petersburg. Evening Optional Ballet at Mariinsky
theater.
ST PETERSBURG - BEIRUT

After breakfast, Free at Leisure.
P.M. Transfer to Airport. Departure on Flight SU
